Frequently asked Questions (FAQ)
We get a lot of questions about our services but have highlighted the most common.
Employers
Q. Are your programs offered on a voluntary basis?A. Our services are always voluntary. Because so much of work place comfort depends on personal posture and work habits a mandatory program would not result in such positive outcomes in terms of improved comfort and health.
Q. Will starting a program cost me an arm and leg?
A. For a virtual assessment it is only $130 per person assessed. For on-site assessments the average cost is $350 and even lower when multiple people are assessed at the same location.
Q. How is the best way to start a program?
A. Some clients select a specific department "pilot" and ergonomic program. Others offer it to the entire organization but promote it based on job functions or locations.
Employees
Q. How long will the process take me?A. An on-site assessment takes approximately 20 minutes. A virtual assessment takes about one hour (questionnaire, images, checklist, 30 minute call).
Q. What if I have more questions after you have completed the assessment?
A. We always offer follow-up for any on-site or virtual assessment we offer. The follow-up gives us a chance to see if you have any questions and allow you to provide feedback to us on the service. For a virtual assessment you can purchase an additional follow-up session for half the cost of the initial. We are always available via. e-mail or for the on-site assessment you will have an on-site follow-up approximately six weeks after your initial evaluation.
A. We have never seen a client experience a claim increase. There are studies that have shown an increase in claims but a decrease in claim costs and duration of disabilities due to early reporting of disabilities. We find that approximately 70% of our client's employee population has some type of symptom (from minor to severe) and would often not be reported if it were not for their commitment to our proactive ergonomic program.
